Falling Apart
Philippians 4:4
4 Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! 5 Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. 6 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Life can feel like everything is falling apart at once: marriage tension, kids running wild, money worries, heartburn, aching joints, rush-hour traffic, the boss, car repairs… the list never ends. The cartoon captures that moment when you’re just trying to “keep it together” while the chaos swirls. Paul doesn’t pretend the problems aren’t real — he just gives us the better way forward:
Rejoice (yes, even now — again, he says it twice for emphasis).
Show gentleness (to others and yourself).
Remember the Lord is near (not distant).
Swap anxiety for prayer + thanksgiving.
It’s not “pretend everything’s fine.” It’s “bring everything to God, thank Him for what He’s already done, and trust Him with what’s coming.” That shift changes everything — even when life still feels like it’s falling apart.
What’s one thing that’s been trying to pull you apart lately? How has prayer, rejoicing, or thanksgiving helped (or how could it)? SHARE BELOW — let’s encourage each other to keep it together in Him! 🙏😊
