Wife Graceful - Rejoice in her
Proverbs 5:18-19
18 May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth. 19 A loving doe, a graceful deer—
Proverbs 5:18–19 “May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth. A loving doe, a graceful deer—may her her…well… may she satisfy you always, may you ever be intoxicated with her love.”
The Bible doesn’t shy away from celebrating marriage — it commands husbands to rejoice in their wives, seeing them as lovely and graceful… even after decades of life together.
In the cartoon, the husband can’t help smirkin’ at his wife (who’s giving him the classic “What the blazes are you smirkin’ at?” glare). She may not look 20 anymore, but to him? Still a graceful deer. Still, the one who makes his heart race.
The verse is a beautiful reminder: Marriage isn’t about chasing youth — it’s about cherishing the one God gave you, through every season. Rejoice in her. Stay intoxicated with her love.
