Millstone Diving Club – Matthew 18:6

Christian cartoon: Millstone Diving Club - A Tradition Unlike Any Other. Humorous illustration of a man wearing a large millstone ready to dive, based on Matthew 18:6 warning about causing little ones to stumble.

Matthew 18:6

“If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”

THE MILLSTONE DIVING CLUB - A Tradition Unlike Any Other

In Matthew 18:6, Jesus gives a powerful, sobering warning about protecting the “little ones” (kids, new believers, the vulnerable) and the serious consequences of leading them into sin or causing them to fall away.

In our age of “Superstar Pastors” and success-by-the-numbers Christianity, we often see a focus on buildings, airplanes, attendance figures, and emotional experiences rather than the pure Word of God. Their theology and message can be “6 inches deep and a mile wide.” They see discipleship as the mission for “other churches.” Check out… Preachers in Sneakers — for a few putting on a Sunday Show instead of preaching truth.

But the Good News is still the Good News of the Gospels. Jesus didn’t need a mega-church to change the world. He focused on depth, truth, and real discipleship.

Note: There is nothing wrong with large churches — only when the focus shifts more to money and numbers than helping people truly find and follow Jesus.

Please share your COMMENTS below on the state of the church today. Thank God for the faithful teachers… and pray for those who need to repent — or get fitted for their own millstone.
