Life’s FINISH LINE is only the beginning

1 Corinthians 2:9

What no eye has seen,
    what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”
the things God has prepared for those who love him

Life’s Finish Line

I just turned 69, and while I plan to live a while longer, I realize I have more life in my rearview than in front of me. But that’s ok, because I believe the promise of 1 Corinthians 2:9…

What no eye has seen,
    what no ear has heard,
and what no human mind has conceived”
the things God has prepared for those who love him

I cannot fathom Heaven… but I believe in the God of my Bible and His promises. Not a blind faith, but instead a well-reasoned faith. Do I know these things to be true? I confess I do not know, but I have faith, and faith is a great gift from God. To believe is like Hebrews 11:1…

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Thank you, Father God, for this life, even the aches, pains, and heartaches. Thank you for the miracle of your creation that I can be a part of, and the promise to me of Heaven as an adopted child of God
