Suspended from Social Media … be like Jesus?
I believe I was suspended from Twitter three times before Elon Musk bought it and rebranded it as X. Once for stating straight Bible truth to a socially charged topic. The other two times I may have, but don’t recall 🙄 a bit snarky regarding one or more equally charged topics. 🙄🙄
This post is not to defend or apologize for past behavior, but it did get me thinking WHAT IF…
Jesus lived today (especially back when X was Twitter) and posted to the #Pharisees group… calling them a brood of Vipers. I think he would have been suspended so quickly, but someday those Twitter content moderators would come before the judgment seat of God, and would hear the words… SUSPENDED FOR ETERNITY.
Ok, God’s Grace would see the whole picture and judge perfectly, nor would He hold a grudge… But for this almost 69-year-old cartoonist, I have to say… NOW THAT’S FUNNY.
