For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
A Glimpse of God
A glimpse of God, like the sun, is bright and warm. Then the clouds return. Lord, another.
The picture is the now. A break in the clouds. Warm. Then gone. Paul says the then is face to face. We do not get the full look yet. We get a glimpse and a prayer for another.
Isaiah 55:8-9 is on the sun for a reason. His thoughts are not our thoughts. His ways are higher. That is why the clouds close. It is not God hiding. We’re still on this side of the mirror.
If this one is for someone in a cloudy stretch, forward it.
