A Touch of Jesus’ Hem

“And behold, a woman who had suffered from a hemorrhage for twelve years came up behind him and touched the fringe of his garment, for she said to herself, ‘If I only touch his garment, I shall be made well.’ Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, ‘Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.’ And instantly the woman was made well.”

I don’t need fame, fortune, a smaller nose, whiter teeth, … or even CHOCOLATE.

I just need a touch of Jesus’ hem. We all do!

That woman had tried everything else for twelve long years. Doctors, money, hope — all gone. Then she reached for the only thing that could actually heal her. One touch. One moment of desperate faith. And everything changed.

Often I find myself chasing a long list of things that this world puts in front of me, but today I am reminded that the touch of Jesus Hem is what I need. The answers are found nowhere else but in Jesus.
