Filing my TAX RETURN LATE!
Correction, I am filing/posting this Tax Return Blog late, but
I did file my taxes on time. In fact, with hours to spare.
Note: My tax return is not difficult; in fact, I will be getting a refund. But my annual tax-return-phobia is strong, which fuels my procrastination in filing.

Thanks, Ben, and I would not argue that point. From my point of view, paying taxes is like paying ‘protection’ money to the mob (the government).
And… with regard to Tax Advice… It’s honestly not a good idea to listen to me. So I repeat…
I hate taxes.. and THEY hate me.
So, instead of listening to tax-phobic Jeff, let me share Gospel tax advice from our Lord.
Render (give back) unto Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's. Mark 12:17
There is no arguing with Jesus on that. Though we may be overtaxed and our government wastes so much time and money, Jesus teaches that taxes are just a monetary issue, while we should give to God our hearts, obedience, service, and love.
Side Note: the only other mention of Jesus and taxes was something about
a 'fish tax', Mt 17:24, and
having dinner with that big little tax man Zacchaeus. Luke 19:1-10
One last tax tip from The Back Pew
Be like ABRAHAM and claim every DEPENDANT, deduction in hopes of receiving a 'blessed refund' from your beloved Uncle Sam. — >
