Christmas Conflicted
Ohhh.. you better watch out, you better not cry, better not pout, I'm telling you why.
Santa Claus is coming to Town,
He's making a list, checking it twice, gonna find out whose naughty or nice…

He sees you when you're sleeping, he knows when you're awake, he knows if you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake ...
Of course, in 2021, I sadly remember many singing.

OK… back to 2025, Santa, and God
In these lyrics from “Santa Claus is Coming to Town,”
I find a few peculiar spiritual parallels.
1. Is Santa OMNISCIENT by knowing who is good or bad and will deliver presents accordingly?
2. Is Santa OMIPRESENT by delivering presents to the whole world in one night (dare I say like a thief in the night), therefore taking claim to being omnipresent?
In my ‘thorough’ investigation of these claims, I will give Santa a pass as I observe…
Santa is not Omniscient but is very, very smart and probably utilizing some sort of North Pole AI.
Santa is not Omnipresent, but is very, very, very, very FAST, while utilizing an advanced North Pole GPS, combined with possible time travel again. And still delivers presents to every house one at a time, not all houses all at once.
While I love Santa, he is simply Christmas Fantasy Fun… and I do not believe from what I have read that he has a God-complex.
In conclusion, only God is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. And Jesus alone is the Real Reason for the Season.
So with that in mind, I pray we all live guilt-free, embracing Santa (but not Frosty, he's very COLD), the presents, and other festive traditions.
Enjoy this Christmas magic while never forgetting to honor and celebrate the Birth of Jesus.
