AI versus I versus… God?

I must confess, I really like AI.

AI (short for artificial intelligence) is a powerful tool for assessing almost any situation, topic, or discipline, with nearly instantaneous response time.

HOWEVER, I have encountered times when AI gets caught in a high-tech loop, answering OLD QUESTIONS that have NOTHING to do with my question of the day.

This was when it became painfully apparent that AI is a software tool and, despite its vast catalog of information resources, was in the end just a massive pile of computer code.

There is no man hiding behind the curtain running the GREAT & POWERFUL (GROK/GEMINI/CHATGPT) Oz. No Wizard, only a bazillion 1s and 0s pretending to be a BRAIN.

Like the old Matrix screenshot

At this point, AI cannot replace man’s ability discern truth. AI can compile and summarize, but it lacks the God-blessed ability of the human brain working in tandem with the heart and soul. At best, AI can only mimic our emotions and instinct… artificially.

Then, very recently, I faced a deeply hurtful conflict in my life with people I love. My heart is at this present time broken, and all of AI’s horses and all of AI’s men can not put it back together again.

And my own intelligence, my heart, and reasoning are at a loss. So I turn to prayer, where I have the promise of the Holy Spirit working on my behalf.

The Holy Spirit Intercedes

In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.

And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God. Romans 8:26-27

God is Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent, and AI couldn’t carry God’s lunch pail.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.“As the heavens are higher than the Earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts are more than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9

These are just two of many

… scriptures that promise God’s love and faithfulness to those in need. God is the answer to every heart and soul question. Fear not, God is with you. Psalm 23, Isaiah 41:10, Psalm 34:18, and so many more.

So if your heart, your soul, and/or your head need answers, turn to God. Seek Him in prayer and meditation when this world’s answers fall short, even with the help of AI.

Blessings
