Bahama Believer- Smile Mon’

Christian Cartoon of Bahama man, living out Solomon's words in Ecclesiastes, withe a SMILE

Ecclesiastes 2:24, 5:18

Eat, drink, enjoy your work, and… SMILE MON!

Don’t worry, Mon, be happy.

Solomon looked at all the striving under the sun and settled on a surprisingly simple gift: eat, drink, and enjoy your work. That is not a vacation slogan. That is Ecclesiastes 2:24 and 5:18. The work is real. The days are few. The smile is allowed.

We get this backward a lot. We postpone joy until the to-do list is finished, the bank account looks safer, or life finally calms down. Solomon put God’s name on it. The enjoyment is from His hand, not from escaping the work.

So Bahama Bobby’s mantra is not “check out.” It is “receive what God put in front of you today, and smile while you do it.”
