Christian Service, Not "Serve Us"

Funny Christian cartoon of two people arguing: “NO Harold! Christian SERVICE… not Christians SERVE US!” – 1 Corinthians 12:4–5 illustration on diverse gifts and service

1 Corinthians 12:4-5

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord.

Paul reminds the Corinthian church (and us): the body of Christ thrives when everyone uses their gifts to SERVE, not when we sit back expecting others to SERVE US.

The beauty of God’s design is that we all have different gifts, different services, all for one Spirit, one Lord. When we all serve (in big ways or small), the whole body grows stronger.

What’s one way you’ve seen (or been part of) true Christian service lately? SHARE BELOW — let’s encourage each other
