Eagle Wings vs. Red Bull Wings

Isaiah 40:31 talks about mounting up with wings like eagles when we wait on the Lord.

Red Bull wings are a different story.

I confess I like (and sometimes need) an energy drink now and then… but too much leaves me jittery. So I definitely don’t advise any pastor to spike his triple espresso with Red Bull as a sweetener.

We’ve all sat through sermons that felt like they needed a little something — an Energizer Bunny, a Red Bull or two, or better yet, a fresh spark of the Holy Spirit instead of the slow drone of a funeral dirge.
