Family Quarrels: Brother? … Father? | 1 Corinthians 12

Christian Cartoon of tension between Catholics and Protestants

Family Quarrels

One body, many parts? — 1 Corinthians 12:12-27

Brother? … Father? I don’t think so.

It’s easy to forget sometimes that… Catholics and Protestants (and Baptists, Pentecostals, etc.) are all part of the same family in Christ — even when we disagree on important things.

Paul’s words in 1 Corinthians 12 are a good reminder: we are one body with many parts. We don’t have to agree on everything to love each other and work together for the Gospel.

Please share in the COMMENTS below: What’s a funny (but clean) denominational difference you’ve heard?

Also… if you’re able, please consider supporting The Back Pew as we fight the culture wars — ONE CLEAN CARTOON AT A TIME. 😊
