Wife Graceful - Rejoice! - Proverbs 5:18-19

Marriage Cartoon of a man's love for his wife. She is beautiful

Proverbs 5:18-19

18 May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth. 19 A loving doe, a graceful deer—

What are you smirkin’ at?

Proverbs 5:18-19

May your fountain be blessed, and may you rejoice in the wife of your youth. A loving doe, a graceful deer—

The verse is actually beautiful — a call for a husband to delight in his own wife and find satisfaction at home. The “loving doe, a graceful deer” language is poetic and warm.

This version just adds the wife’s reaction. While a graceful deer is not what this picture shows of this woman munching on a chocolate bar, in his heart he still sees a graceful deer.

Sometimes the biblical encouragement is clear. The delivery, depending on the day (and the facial expression), can still get a look. Be happy with the wife you married — and maybe smile carefully when you say the deer part.
