Crown me!
This cartoon is a small tribute to Clarence Karow, a quiet patriarch of my home church in rural Wisconsin when I was growing up. He was one of those steady, faithful men whose white hair really did look like a crown of glory — earned through years of walking with the Lord and serving His people.
Proverbs 16:31
“Gray hair is a crown of glory; it is gained in a righteous life.”
Some crowns are made of gold.
Others are made of white hair, quiet faithfulness, and a lifetime of showing up.
