The lion was supposed to roar, but all he can muster is… meow. Psalm 23 is why a sheep can talk smack with a lion. The Lord is my shepherd. Even in the valley, I will fear no evil (Psalm 23:4). The rod and the staff are still in the picture. The predator is not the biggest presence in the field.
Don’t confuse this with being rude. Dirty Harry is the joke. The psalm is the ground.
