A QR Code Altar Call?

“If you would like to accept Jesus as your personal Savior, just scan this QR code.”

Rev Hibbons streamlined his sermon by replacing the traditional altar call with a QR code.

QR codes are incredibly useful tools — but some modern “streamlining” in church can feel like it’s missing the heart of a genuine response to the Gospel.

There’s something powerful and personal about a public moment of decision, prayer, and community support at the altar. Technology is a great servant, but a poor master.
