Nature Praises the Lord

Psalm 148

Let sun, moon, stars, ocean waves, and heavens praise the Lord!

Creation itself is invited to praise its Maker. Sometimes the simplest reminder is the best one: Praise the Lord!

When I see the complexity of the world around me — and the infinite expanse we’re only beginning to glimpse through the James Webb telescope — I’m filled with awe. I understand why the scientific world is so captivated by it. Exploring the origins of everything is a grand pursuit… but knowing the Creator of everything is the greater one.

Man will travel the vast regions of our galaxy yet often give little time to the God who made both the microscopic and the cosmic. This same God seeks a personal relationship with each of us. That is the pursuit we should never ignore.

For since the creation of the world God’s invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that people are without excuse. Romans 1:20
