Grey Hair

Christian cartoon featuring senior citizens with grey hair Proverbs 20:28

Proverbs 20:29

“The glory of young men is their strength, gray hair the splendor of the old.”

Grey hair of experience is the splendor of the old.

Life is SPLENDID
…and we are OLD!

There’s something beautiful about growing older when it’s viewed through God’s eyes. My strength is fading and the list of aches and pains is growing, but experience, wisdom, and the opportunity to seek the Lord — and one day hear Him say “Well done” — are the quiet glory I now seek.

Getting older isn’t the end of the story. Every day is still an opportunity to grow closer to God and to serve Him. Sometimes it’s just the beginning of a different kind of splendor.

Please share in the comments what getting older has taught you, and what blessings you’ve found in this season of life.
