STORY FROM MY LIFE
I remember, as a youth in my home church, sitting with a bunch of my friends who didn't really sing well at all.

So we asked the classic Gospel question, paraphrased from John 9. (Just replace blind with flat & pitchy singing voices and it works, sorta.)
Who Sinned? Were our bad voices because of our sins, or the sins of our parents? We all agreed it must have been Mom and Dad.
But I digress, today we are talking CONE OF SILENCE.

Would you believe… the ‘Cone of Silence’ communications device utilized in the old Get Smart TV show from the 1960’s was utilized in my church to mute the flat and pitchy voices in your congregation?

Would you believe… we just put them in a separate room? How about we just told them to sing quieter?
