“Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. The rain came down, the streams rose, and the winds blew and beat against that house; yet it did not fall, because it had its foundation on the rock…”

OUR CHURCH FOUNDATION ERODED by our WORDS and ACTIONS — Mt 7:24-27
What does “the church” stand for? What does it stand on?
1 Corinthians 3:11 — “For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ.”
Matthew 5:14-16 — “You are the light of the world… let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
John 14:15, 21 — “If you love me, keep my commands… Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me.”
James 1:22 — “Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”
A church where Jesus Christ is the foundation, the light of the world, and where we obey God’s commands — not swayed by secular culture.
The core point remains: this foundation erodes through words and actions contrary to God’s timeless, loving truths. The verse still stands. The cliff shows only one set of pressures already at work.
