Me, myself, and AI - Isaiah 55:8-9

Christian cartoon of a man overwhelmed by AI tools (Grok, Gemini, ChatGPT) on his computer with the humorous caption "AI vs I vs GOD" and Isaiah 55:8-9

Isaiah 55:8-9

8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Me, Myself, and AI… and God

I confess — I use AI almost every day. It’s a great tool. I often use it for editing, brainstorming, or just discussing ideas. From a purely technical standpoint, it’s impressive.

But let’s be clear: AI is not my mentor, and it is definitely not my spiritual advisor. It can help me find a scripture reference or suggest better wording, but that’s as far as it goes.

I love Isaiah 55:8-9 because it puts everything in perspective. All the knowledge of man — including powerful tools like AI — is still in the palm of God’s hand. He created the universe from the cosmos to the microscopic. AI can study creation, but it can never replace the Creator.

So yes, I will continue to use AI and marvel at what it can do. But my sense of awe for artificial intelligence will always pale in comparison to the awe I have for the one true God — the Creator who loves us, saves us from our sins, and lives outside of time and space.

LOL… mind blown.

May your day be blessed with the knowledge of our infinite God.
